Each Aircast Ankle Brace features anatomically designed shells lined with the patented Duplex™ aircell system. This exclusive system incorporates two pre-inflated overlapping aircells, distal and proximal, that provide support and produce graduated compression during ambulation. The compression promotes efficient edema reduction in addition to helping accelerate rehabilitation.
The Air-Stirrup Standard Ankle Brace comes with a patient guide providing information on brace application and optional rehabilitation exercises. This item is U-shaped with an adjustable heel pad and is open in the back.
Supports and compresses the injured ankle within regular shoes. Limits inversion-eversion (side-to-side motion) while permitting near normal flexion.

Sizing:
The manufacturer suggests choosing the brace that will extend well above your ankle. This will provide the most efficient ankle support. Measure from the bottom of your foot to 2" above your ankle.
