Description: Professional Prescription Strength Wart Formula for Warts & Plantar Warts. Formulated with 2 ingredients proven to destroy warts: 5% 5-Fluorouracil and 30% salicylic acid)
Your physician may prescribe this solution because it delivers a therapeutic dose of the active ingredient 5-Fluorouracil that effectively stops DNA synthesis (or reproduction) of the virus that causes warts and plantar warts.
How it works: The salicylic acid in this solution is a keratolytic that breaks down the wart’s outer shell allowing the 5-Fluorouracil to penetrate the wart and destroy the virus. While over-the-counter medications are used to treat minor ailments, this prescription medication allows your doctor to aggressively and effectively treat your wart.

Active Ingredients:
Double Action Anti-viral Cream: Contains two active ingredients that deliver a combined dose of proven anti-viral (wart) medications. (5%) 5-Fluorouracil has been shown to destroy the virus that causes warts by inhibiting the virus from reproducing. The 30% salicylic acid is a keratolytic that destroys the hard keratin layer of skin that forms around viruses, thus exposing the virus to the 5-Fluorouracil.
Recommended Usage:
Apply a thin film to wart(s) once at bedtime daily. Allow to completely dry. Apply only to wart(s). Protect surrounding skin. Normal surrounding skin may be protected with petroleum jelly, or ask your physician for their recommendation.
Note: Prescription medications are formulated in concentrations and strengths that usually provide more effective treatments than over-the-counter preparations. Prescription medications are ordered by a doctor and prepared by a licensed pharmacist for a “custom-made” treatment. Over-the-counter medications are mass produced and do not provide custom treatments
